I have Masters in AI and find deep learning and computer vision fascinating.
Before gradschool, from 2014 to 2021 I worked as a software developer for Cognizant and Accenture. I helped build applications for american commercial insurance clients.

- Architected and led delivery of an automated daily interest accrual system for security position accounts — sourcing live rates from external systems via API, calculating interest on latest balances with compounding logic, and posting monthly accruals for approval — unlocking ~$4M in annual interest postings
- Led development of a court-admissible statement generation system surfacing “transactions of interest” for thousands of accounts, producing fully formatted PDF evidence documents (cover page, disclaimers, audit logs) from structured and unstructured sources across HDFS and a Document Lake
- Engineered a high-throughput document parsing pipeline in Java on Linux, processing 200+ documents per request (~10GB of data) against a ~10 requests/week workload — reducing end-to-end processing time by 5% (1 week → 1 day) with improved pipeline transparency and fault robustness
